The Delhi and District Cricket Association (DDCA) on Tuesday decided to rechristen Feroz Shah Kotla Stadium as Arun Jaitley Stadium in the memory of its past president who passed away on Saturday.
The renaming will happen on September 12 at a limit where a stay at the Kotla will be named after India authority Virat Kohli as pronounced previously.
At that point, the DDCA tweeted out a clarification that is apparently a bit of overwhelming.
Chatting on this movement, DDCA president Rajat Sharma expressed: "It was Arun Jaitley's assistance and relief that players like Virat Kohli, Virender Sehwag, Gautam Gambhir, Ashish Nehra, Rishabh Pant and various others could make India happy."
Jaitley, during his residency at DDCA, is credited with revamping the arena into a cutting edge office, expanding its ability to oblige more fans other than building world class changing areas.

Gambhir wrote to Baijal on August 24, the day Jaitley passed away at AIIMS after a delayed ailment, proposing to rename the rambling complex in his voting public after the BJP stalwart in acknowledgment of his commitment towards country building and his affection for cricket.
